My photo
New York native Berto, obtained a BFA in Illustration from Parsons School of Design in 2007. Specializing in pop culture themes, Berto has participated in exhibitions such as the “Marilyn in Art Exhibition” at the Gershwin Hotel in 2006; earning him a spot in an international publication “A Tribute to Celebrities” by Index Book. Berto’s talents are also displayed in his passion for 3D delving into customizing toys. Exhibiting his first toy with Toy Tokyo at The Showroom in NYC for the “Art+Action=OBAMA08” in 2008, receiving praise and a demand for his customs. Berto currently resides in NYC where he is actively exhibiting with The Antagonist Movement and creating customs using pop culture as his muse.

The pieces that started it all...

In May 2006 I had my very first official art show with my fellow illustration Graduates. Out of 7, 5 of them were selected to be part of the show...
