Pantomime Artshow Pieces

October 22nd marks a special exciting event for me and a few of my friends.
The Pantomime show was an absolute AMAZING success and by far one of the best shows I've been apart of with the Antagonist Movement.
I'm sure many of you were anxious to see my pieces for this event and now the time has come. Below is a group shot of my pieces at the show and then my Art Description along with the original digital image...

While coming up with a possible show topic, I came across one of my favorite songs by Incubus titled "Pantomime". A stand out for me was this line, "We say more by saying nothing at all " Sometimes words only complicate because people cannot verbalize themselves properly and at times people do not understand what you are saying completely.

Being that the topic was based on a song, I've decided to use song lyrics to illustrate my pieces. Each piece was made using an inspiring quote from the song and illustrating a scenario. They each represent a situation that many people go through in life.

Fame Kills

"... Amidst all of these flashing lights, I pray the fame won’t take my life..."

- Paparazzi (Live Intro), Lady Gaga

Wanted Alien

"... Is it possible they're gunning for me and now they’re coming after you for loving too..."

- Violet Stars, Happy Hunting, Janelle MonĂ¡e

Burn This Fucker Down

"... I'd rather live out on the street than in this haunted memory..."

- Funhouse, P!nk

I’m a Chameleon

"... My attraction paralyzes me, no courage to show my true colors that exist ...The one's I loath are the one's that know me the best..."

- Magic's In The Makeup, No Doubt (Gwen Stefani)

The Pantomime show was special to all of us, and I think it not only left an impression with the people who came to see the show, but also with the artists.

I definitely agree with Omy on that one. It was such an amazing experience and I am glad to have been able to share the space with such amazing artists and individuals. Each one of us brought something different to the table and thats what made it so intriguing. I can't wait to work with you guys in the future. =)
