After the Obama Toy Show...

So my friends and I went to the "Art + Action = Obama 08" last week for the opening night and I must say the show was AMAZING! I wont be posting up EVERY PICTURE I took of different pieces but if you are friends with my on Myspace you definitely can see them in my photo Album!
A few days later I had went to work... did the usual thing of course which was work and hope that 6:30pm or 7pm would hurry up and get here! LOL. Anyways, my co-worker Larry told me he forgot to give me a message he got last night after I left work. He told me that someone had purchased my Obanna figure! I thought he was joking around but he said that Nick (who works at the retail store of our job) told him to tell me but I was already gone! So my eyes lit up and I was freakin' excited!!!

My first toy custom I have ever done has been sold... I dont know by whom but I hope to know sooner or later. The money is going out for a good cause... it's gonna help out for the Obama Campaign and because of that my friends say it would look great in my resume, taking part of a historical political event! So I'm stoked even tho I didnt get the sale for myself LOL but you know what... ALOT of people are viewing my work and little by little my work will be recognized and loved by many... I hope LOLOL!
I think after this toy custom... I want to do more... be part of the toy world.. express myself and my art work in a variety of ways, you know!
I'll stop here... I'm getting inspired now.
so until next blog... ja mata!

PS Later i'll be putting up some works. sorry for the delay.
